The present paper has been written in pursuit of introducing the approaches and ideas of the most prominent contemporary thinkers and schools of thought on the relation of language and mind, providing criticism and investigation of them. For achieving this purpose every approach will be rexamined after its being introduced and the historical background of which being mentioned. Eventually the writer's viewpoint about the topic will be presented.
