The main objective of this study is to evaluate the lexical collocation in prose and verse of Persian language. The results of the data evaluation have shown the application of twelve collocations in terms of the conceptual relations in the corpus. These types with different frequencies have been involved in the manner of expressing the text and developing the meaning. These findings have shown that how each one of these collocations, especially synonym, opposition, hyponym, association, and idiomatic collocations play an important role in highlighting and stressing the meaning and also in the better reading of the text. Meanwhile, other collocations such as the absolute, reduplication, directional and gender collocations have a more limited application and they are considered as the second priority. The other consequence of the research is facing with two types of collocations (structurally) which includes adjective and adjective collocation and adverb and adverb collocation. These two types of collocations can be added to the previous five-component classification as a new achievement.
