The present study is aimed at analyzing the discourse of Mullah Ali Fakheri’s poems in order to investigate how his worldview in didactic discourse is represented through transitivity system and process types. In this regard, “Gozide-ye Ash’ar” and “Gozide-ye Marsiye” were chosen for transitivity analysis. The results show that in Mullah Fakher’s didactic poems the material, relational and mental processes were the most frequent ones. Also, Mullah Fakher has used the material, behavioral and existential processes in Gozide-ye Marsiye more than Gozide-ye Ash’ar, while the frequency of verbal, relational, and mental processes in Gozid-e Ash’ar is more than Gozide-ye Marsiye. The way mullah Fakher uses process types made his didactic poems similar to poems in Persian discourse of love.
