To achieve an accurate perception of language, accent and dialect and understand numerous subtleties of language, we inevitably have to know the grammar and its governing rules so that we would be able to make use of it for communication. However, from all researches implemented in this area, few studies have been allocated to dialects’ grammar. Accordingly the importance of this area of dialect including grammar and its topics has encouraged the authors of this paper to study reduplication structure in Lay-zangan (Darab) dialect. Lay-zangan is located in the Eastern part of Darab, Fars province. The village has a dialect mixed of several dialects and accents which has most in common with Shirazi and Lori dialects. The present research has offered several findings such as: Reduplication structure often follow certain structuring patterns (Formulas) and only few reduplications do not follow high frequency practices. Besides, the most frequently used patterns of creating reduplications in this dialect is alternation of initial consonant of word to “M” or “P” and insertion of “ـَ K “ ak or “ـَ L” al or “ـَ T” at into initial consonant and place it in initial position.
