One of the most important literary genres that has survived from ancient Iran, especially from the Middle Ages of Iranian literature, is the advice (= Anderznameh). The large number of Anderznamehs that have survived in Persian and Arabic shows that this type of literature was very popular and popular in ancient and medieval Iran. The style of writing Anderznamehs in Persian usually follows a simple and fluent style with short and clear sentences. The history of writing advice letters in ancient and medieval Iran also shows the same style and method. The text of Pahlavi advice letters is usually no more than a few pages long and their style is often simple and fluent. Short advice sentences are sometimes expressed in the form of news sentences and sometimes, like the Menui Khrad, Yadgar Bozorgmehr, and Anderz Osner Dana, are expressed in the form of questions and answers. The advice attributed to Anushirvan in Persian and Arabic texts is often the same, that is, they are written in short sentences and in simple prose; but this is not always the case. Sometimes the advice is written in a difficult style and in complex prose. In Persian, rewriting advice in poetry is also very common, and in the case of Anushirvan's advice, in addition to the Shahnameh, we can mention the Pandanama of Anushirvan in the Divan of Ibn Yamin. The aim of this research is to examine the sources of advice of Anushirvan, classify them, and compare them with each other.
