The merging ability of Persian complex verb

Abstract
This research provides a comprehensive descriptive analysis of persian complex verbs in the view of minimalists. It should be mentioned that these complex verbs have two hosts by the light verb (head). This study is to present a classification in regarding to their lexical and semantic relations. In these complex verbs, two hosts have their own meanings. Four types were recognized in this research. Those are as follows: 1-Two hosts are synonymous. Semantic markedness can be recognized between them. e.g. geryeh – o- zari kard  châp – o – montašer kardan2- Two hosts are opposites. Distributional markedness can recognized between them. e.g. kam – o – ziyad karda   Bâlâ – o – pâien kardan 3- two hosts are adjectives. An adjective plus its own comparative form. e.g.      Dur – o – Durtar šodan Adj + and + comparative form of the adjectiveIt can be formed by reduplication (complete reduplication).e.g.      Durtar – o – Durtar šodan 4-One host is cheifly related to another one, that is, one can semantically complete the other one.
