The present study examines the effect of gender differences in the production of English sentences requested by Kurdish speakers in Sanandaj city, at Kurdistan University. For this purpose, 54 students were students of the first year of university in the general English class. They were selected by random sampling method. In this research, students were asked to write suitable sentences for the various situations in the questionnaire. Finally, the number of words used for each sentence applied was compared based on the gender of the participants. The findings showed that there are significant differences between male and female speakers in the production of sentences. Girls use more vocabulary in the production of sentences than boys, and the length of sentences requested by the girls is far greater than the length of sentences given by the boys. This suggests a slight difference in the production of sentences by women and men.
