One of the most important functions of the media is Public education. The media plays an important role in encouraging certain behaviors and habits, especially in the field of health. Therefore, in this field and with an emphasis on "prevention", a variety of media, especially television, are used to broadcast health messages. Of course, depending on individual and social differences, the effectiveness of messages varies from person to person, and thus great care must be taken in choosing the content of the messages. Health message designing is an interdisciplinary field and is a branch of health communication. The most common patterns of health messages are negative and positive patterns and one- or two-way messages. The epidemic of coronavirus has once again highlighted the importance of health messages. In an analytical-descriptive way, the present paper examines health messages in the media (both television and cyberspace) from a linguistic perspective in Iran, France, and Canada. Analysis of health messages shows that less attention has been paid to linguistic considerations in designing messages.
