In this research it is considerd two stages of cognitive development: concrete operational stage and formal operational stage. The research method in this paper is library method was used for data collection and the questionnaire was used for the field study. Finaly, children and teenagers responses to questions at any age indicate the nature of their image schemas in the related age. Teenager understand image schemas(figurative concepts) well but children comprehend concrete and objective concepts better than the abstract concepts .Finally, in this research children aged 11 to 7 fail to understand image schemas. In fact, concrete and objective concepts are more understandable for these children.
