Abstract
In Langacker's view, grammatical relations subject, direct object and indirect object are not fundamental concepts. So, they ought to be described on the basis of autonomy asymmetry, action chain and production and sink of energy. Never the less, he considered the subject as a primary figure, direct object as a secondary figure and indirect object as an unstable concept, sometimes as a figure and in other times as a ground.
