The present article is an analytical-descriptive study which is comparatively analyzes some Quran verses that are related to heaven and hell in the translation of the Quran. In this study, the researcher seeks to find the answer to the questions based on the view of Searle, how heaven and hell is represented in the verses of the Holy Quran, and what are the similarities and differences? The data were collected from the translation of the verses of the Holy Quran. 107 verses were collected to describe the hell and 192 verses were collected to describe the heaven. The method and the model which is used in this study is based on Searle's theory of Speech acts. The results of the research showed, the use of declarative, persuasive and emotional speech acts in the verses related to the heaven in the text of the Quran are more than the verses which are related to the hell. The result shows, God has opened the doors of his mercy and forgiveness to his servants and has promised to send them to the heaven in return of their good deeds.
