Abstract
The linguistic differences between men and women have always been in the focus of the sociolinguistics researches. This study, based on the present theories in this field, tries to survey the effect of the independent psychological variable of gender, on the variables of topics, changing the topic and speech style in the teachers' speech studied. Data required for this study was obtained from the recorded conversations in the offices of teachers for each gender group about 60 minutes, respectively. The results of descriptive data showed that men prefer to manage political issues while women like to have topics related to domestic and family affairs. In addition, men's topics are much more subject to change, while doing so in women rarely form. Following the style of speech, both genders use the standard style, in the same range.
