This article aims at analyzing the discourse of love in poems of two prominent Iranian poets namely Sa’di and Ebtehaj in order to investigate how their worldviews are represented in this discourse through transitivity system and process types. Also, the differences and similarities between these two poets in this regard have been studied. The results show that material, relational and mental processes are the most common ones in the corpora analyzed in this article. However mental and verbal processes are more frequent in Sa’die’s poems while in Ebtehaj poems mental, existential and behavioral are more frequent. This shows that comparing to Ebtehaj, Sa'di puts more emphasis on sentiments and mental emotions in order to represent the romantic relationship in his poems, and he creates a more abstract space for his audience; the higher use of verbal process is due to the fact that this poet represents the romantic relationships In the context of the dialogue between the lover and beloved, the inner conversation of the poet, and also the narrative of love. On the other hand, the higher use of the material process in Ebtehajs's poems reflects the dynamic feature of his poems and his emphasis on the real world. Ebtehaj has also tried to represent the physical and emotional behaviors of the lover and beloved through the higher use of behavioral and material processes.

This research aims to study and to describe syntactically the preposition deletion in the prepositional Phrases in Modern Persian, based on Minimalism Syntax. The most fundamental axis of the research are to scrutinize the positions of preposition deletion, reasons for preposition deletion, and grammaticality of the sentences with deleted prepositions. The results show that the presence of the prepositions in Persian is dependent on the type of verb (valency/Transitivity), the relationships between the verb and it’s arguments, the grammatical roles and some semantic features, and in some cases can be optional. So the preposition deletion in some positions doesn’t make the sentence ungrammatical. Some of these positions and cases are as follows: 1- incorporation operation, 2- indirect object position, 3- Ellipsis due to previous repetition. 4- phrasal verbs, 5- complex prepositions, and 6- some prepositional phrases.

Based upon Huddleston and Pullum (2002), idioms are linguistic units portraying an identity larger than a word and possessing a non-compositional content which does not come out of the meaning of the single words inside. The literature depicts fixation of syntactic behavior and absence of different syntactic forms as the most significant feature of idioms. However, a few researches illustrate that the syntactic productivity of idioms is a matter of graduality and that these constructions represent degrees of dynamics and syntactic behavior without complete meaning change In the present contribution, an attempt has been made to explore the dynamics and the syntactic behavior of idiomatic verbs in Persian based on the cognitive approach of Gibbs & Nayak (1989). It is argued that most idiomatic verbs in Persian despite their syntactic change portray no alternation in idiomtic meaning. Furthermore, we will represent a categorization of the investigated syntactic behaviors which illustrate the most and the least impact on the meaning change of the idiomatic verbs. The analysis of data indicate that those idiomatic verbs which are comassable are least influenced by a change in their syntactic behavior and those that are decompassable are heavily influenced by this process.

Clitics are linguistic elements which have different behaviors. In other words, they are similar to affixes in terms of their structure but have syntactic function unlike affixes. In fact, they have no function in word formation but have roles and functions in structures bigger than words. Today, one can find these very specific linguistic units that are largely studied, in most of the languages of the world. The present article is a corpus-based study about clitics in poems and analyzes the clitics of Parvin’s poems. The research data have been collected from different types of poems of Parvin Etesami and have been recognized, classified and analyzed according to Zwicki’s classification. The results indicate that some types of clitics are not used in poems. These are due to the differences between the language of poem and colloquial speech on one hand and poem features of the poet on the other hand.

The theory of the semiotics of the poem by Michael Riffart, based on structuralism, attempts to develop literary readership and his reaction to the text to provide a systematic method of reading the text. In this theory, there are two types of readings: first, the poems are read in two ways, read out and explicitly examined, which in the first stage seek to seek meaning, and in the second phase, attention is drawn to linguistic implications. In this reader mode, we look at the referencing of signs to the intranet and the creation of interconnected networks of signs. The research methodology in this paper is note-taking and library research. Michael Riffart’s semiotics book, is considered the main source. The present article introduces the theoretical approach of the Riffart and then, based on that, the most popular poem book of the Brotherhood, "winter" and the most famous poem of this book is "winter," which in this paper is a review. It is very rich in terms of image and has close to thirty similes, geniuses, metaphors and symbols. Poetry, after analyzing and analyzing non-religious elements, we will achieve accumulations, descriptive systems and structural networks. The purpose of this research is to strive for a more accurate and deeper reading in the desired poem, referring to the proposed refinement framework.
